Hi, I’m Quanita!
—better known as Chakra Quan across the internet—your humor-infused wellness strategist and community-driven advocate for healing. As a facilitator of transformative spaces, I view my purpose in life as a conduit for both healing and laughter. Friends often call me a "human fortune cookie" because of my unique ability to blend humor, wisdom, and encouragement into everything I do.
Through my company, I serve as a strategic advisor and consultant for nonprofits and Fortune 500 companies, focusing on health equity initiatives, integrating healing modalities, and supporting peer-led approaches. With a combined 9 years of experience in the non-profit and state government sector, I’ve had the privilege of leading projects and programs that support children, youth, families, and underserved communities.
Through my extensive background in nonprofit leadership, program management, and service implementation, I’ve gained invaluable experience in fostering environments that are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and dedicated to empowering those I serve. As a Dayton native, I hold a degree in Liberal Studies, focusing on Social Sciences, with minors in African & African-American Studies and Women's Studies, alongside a certificate in African-American and Gender Experience in Health Care. This academic foundation, coupled with my experience, fuels my passion for social justice and creating spaces for healing.
Whether through my work with organizations like Procter & Gamble, the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, ISAIAH, Alliance for Early Success, Ohio Organizing Collaborative, or my individual offerings like self-care activities and community care coordination, I strive to infuse healing justice into everything I touch. Healing justice isn’t just a concept—it’s a way of being that fosters an empowered, resilient, and connected community. I’m here to help you align your organizations goals with practices that promote holistic wellness and lasting change.
